This freedom can carry additional risks however. A sense of adventure can mean we take risks we wouldn’t have at home. Rates of HIV infection among travellers, expats and FIFO workers have been slowly rising for a number of years. The WA AIDS Council works to educate travellers of the risks that can come with travelling to high HIV prevalent countries. We provide information, support and strategies to stay safe while you are overseas.
